This building is one of the most presentable exsamples of 14th century Ottoman architecture. In 1388 Sultan Murat 1 built this charity house which served food to poor daily , for his beloved mother Nilufer Hatun's memory. |

| In Ottoman architecture , the reverse T-plan was used for the fisrt time during the construction of this charity house. The entrance of the building is a gallery covered with a dome and arched vaults and carried by columns and pedestals. The entrance door welcomes visitors with an inscription on it. In the garden of this very peacefull museum , work of art from Greek , Roman , Byzantine and Ottoman periods are exhibited. |
